Kristina got in late and fell asleep on the sofa. Sam came in the door with glassy eyes and a crumpled up tissue, dabbing her eyes.
“What’s wrong?” Kristina asked, wiping her eyes of sleep.
“I think Jason’s cheating on me.” She whined almost inaudibly.
Kristina raised an eyebrow. “Where’d you get that idea from? Jason wouldn’t cheat on you.”
“I saw some texts on his phone from (sobs) an unknown number.” Sam buried her face in her Kleenex-clan hands and sobbed.
“What did they say?”
Sam sobbed even harder.
“Maybe you should some being so… I mean, you let Jason control you; you don’t have a life outside of him. He knows that if he were to do you wrong, you wouldn’t leave him.”
“How can you say that? I love him! He is my reason for existing!” Sam cried.
Kristina rolled her eyes. She didn’t understand why her sister was being so dumb. “You know, you’re being really stupid. I can’t believe you let Jason control you like that. It’s really sad In fact, it’s pathetic.” Kristina said. “If he’s cheating on you, it’s you fault.”
At six o’clock, Kristina got dressed for Johnny’s birthday event. She changed into a short, red halter dress with a bow at the neckline, Corinna and Felicia texted her that they were on their way.
Johnny’s birthday party was huge. It took place at the Port Charles City Park . Everyone and their friends came. In fact, Johnny didn’t know half the people there.
Ethan arrived with Bree, causing Kristina to seethe with jealousy.
Felicia was wearing an aqua colored summer dress with a drawstring built-in belt to cinch the waist along with silver gladiator sandals and a silverish gray ballet shrug.
Corinna wore a long, cotton strapless yellow dress with a black leather jacket with a silver pendant and black converse high-tops.
Kristina spotted Ethan and Bree dancing to “Please Don’t Stop the Music,” by Rihanna. Kristina felt stupid because she didn’t have a date or anything. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eyes, she thought she saw Kiefer. Her eyes shot into that direction, but only saw Johnny, grinding with a pretty, tan, honey blonde with a hairstyle like Marilyn Monroe. The blonde looked familiar like a model.
Felicia and Corinna excused themselves to the bathroom.
Kristina walked to the punch table and filled a cup with the purple kool-aid, instead of the clichéd red drink. After taking a sip, it was evident it had been spiked.
The song changed to “Booty Wurk,” by T-pain and Felicia and Corinna emerged from the bathroom.
“Hey guys, I want to introduce you guys to Johnny.” Kristina led Corinna and Felicia to where Johnny was.
“Hey, Johnny.” She tapped him on the shoulder.
“Hey,” he turned to hug her. “This is Nonni.” He introduced the woman with the dark skin and Marilyn Monroe hairstyle.
“Nonni Cardova.” She extended her manicured hand.
“Hi, I’m Kristina and this is Felicia and Corinna.”
“Oh. Well, the three of you are very beautiful.” Nonni complimented the three of them.
“Thank you.” Corinna and Felicia said unison.
Johnny couldn’t seem to keep his eyes off of Corinna. Felicia noticed this.
The three girls recognized Nonni.
“Are you the Nonni Cardova from Spread the magazine?” Felicia asked.
“Yes, I am.” Nonni replied. “Do you read it?”
“Yep. Two year subscription, all three of us.” Corinna answered.
Johnny was still staring at Corinna.
“Well, I do appreciate the support. Do you all want some punch?” Nonni said.
“Sure,” Felicia said.
Nonni smiled and disappeared to the punch table.
“Happy birthday, Johnny.” Corinna said dully.
“Happy birthday.” Kristina and Felicia said.
Ethan and Bree also went to get some punch. Nonni walked past Bree, who was wearing the green shirt-dress she’d seen at the Port Charles Mall a few days earlier.
Nonni was wearing a pastel pink, almost white, strapless mini-dress with layered ruffles from below the waist to above the knee. Nonni handed Johnny, Felicia and Corinna their drinks and took one for herself, as Kristina already had one.
Corinna took a sip and made a face as she swallowed. “Whoo. Tastes like Whiskey.”
Felicia took a swig and swallowed with ease. “Damn. Sho do.”
It was really nice meeting you, but I have to introduce these two to someone.” Kristina dragged Corinna and Felicia to where Michael was with Abby.
“Hey, Michael.” Kristina hugged him.
“Hey, Krissy.” He hugged her back.
“So, these are my friends. Corinna, Felicia, this is Michael and his… girlfriend, Abby.” Kristin uttered Abby’s named through clenched teeth.
Corinna waved and so did Abby, while Felicia and Michael locked eyes.
Michael instantly forgot about Abby, completely.
Abby and Kristina both, coincidentally, excused themselves to the bathroom. Kristina quickly did her business and went out to look in the mirror and wash her hands; Abby came out a few minutes later.
Kristina got straight to the point. “I think you should get out of my brother’s life and leave him alone.”
Abby sighed. “Look, me and Michael are going to be together for a long time and you’re just gonna have to stop acting like a third grader and deal with it.” She began to walk off but Kristina grabbed her arm.
“It’s better to be a third grader than an old, whorish spinster like you. How can you possibly expect a nineteen year old to commit to you? You know you need to find a man you own age. Or maybe a sugar daddy.”
Abby was so mad she could have slapped Kristina. “Are you sure you aren’t jealous?”
“Jealous of what?”
“Jealous of the fact that now, I’m the one who gets all of Michael’s attention. Michael and I love each other, and no matter what you say or do, I’m not giving Michael up that easily.” Abby said firmly before storming out.
Ethan was blown away by the revealing-ness of both Bree and Kristina’s dresses. Kristina’s back was completely exposed, and the dress had a plunging neckline.
Bree’s dress was tight with a built in bra that forced cleavage by mashing her boobs together.
“You look stunning tonight.” Ethan told Bree, even though he was thinking about Kristina.
“Thank you.” Bree blushed nervously.
Ethan gulped down some purple punch.
